A Visit With A Future Hall of Famer!

11/09/06 - Here we are in sunny San Diego visiting Trevor Hoffman's home. Just behind us, you can see the famous wall of balls. Trevor has a ball for every save he's ever earned in every major league game. Just below the wall are drawers filled with more baseballs. Each ball is dated and numbered for each save. We visited Trevor just after the 2006 season after breaking the all-time saves records previously held by Lee Smith.

Trevor is a really cool down to earth guy. He had just returned from a day at the beach surfing to meet up with us.
The picture at the top is of Trevor's Rolaid's Relief Man which is awarded to the top relief pitcher in the league.
